High school Design and Technology students often need to produce complex technical drawings using a compass, setsquares, T-square, and drawing board, demonstrating a range of technical drawing skills. This includes the ability to bisect angles, proportionally subdivide lines, enlarge items, find centre lines, construct tangents and tangential arcs, and use a compass to construct geometric shapes, such as triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and octagons. This article helps students learn these tasks.
